Halloween Costumes
The eerie October feeling is creeping in. Everyone is preparing for the spooky celebration- especially in the Gift Shop.
Staff confirmed that the Halloween Penguin Style will be ready for October 1. "No matter what king of costume you want, we've got something for you," said one costumer maker.
"You want spooky? Adorable? Want to make a monsterish mishmash? We've got it all!" Trick-or-treaters are invited to pick up their costumes early. It often takes time to find just the right look.
"Last year I was a Frankenstein with fairy wings," the expert added. This year I'm pretty sure I want to be a wizard. But that could change when I see what's available."
Waddle over to the Gift Shop on October 1 for all your Halloween costume needs.

Black Puffles Take To Carts
Black puffles have been spotted in the Mine playing with carts. Cart surfers who've seen their skills have some big ideas.
At the Mine, we found some dedicated surfers and their unsmiling pets. They had flashlights to look down the tracks.
"See 'em? For a while, we've suspected that black puffles come here to sharpen their skills. So we watched. Talk about sweet moves!" The surf experts explained that seeing the talented puffles really inspired them. So they bought their own pets to the Underground. "We brought our own pets to the Underground.
"We brought our own, got them onto our own carts and started riding with 'em. They are fun to have along. good at balancing, too!"
Cart surfers are still doing some last minute safety tests in the Mine with their puffles. We hope to hear more about black puffles and carts too.

Game On At The Staduim!
Four eager teams. Three exciting new events. Competition is heating up as a special track event gets underway.
Spokespenguins from each team have been rallying in the Stadium.
Decked out in mohawks, Team Red was loud. " The 100 meter waddle race is definitely gonna be our game!"
The newest team, Team Yellow, answered back, "We've been perfecting our jackhammering skills. It's our first time out, but we are ready."
Team Green was bouncing. Green's gonna laugh to the top of the podium. We've got snowball precision!"
Team Blue told us they've practiced all the events. "We work together. We're strong and we want to win."
All teams should head to the Stadium to get into uniform. The track event starts September 24.

Update your Igloo with New Items
Hi there, I got something for you.
The better igloos catalog is getting some interestingnew items this week. Penguins looking for a home office with more of a 'college' setting will find everything they need.
" I can't concentrate without a white board nearby," said one decarator. "What if I get a BIG idea? I need a big place to write it down. And now I can!"
Igloo owners will also find computer desks, scrolled down maps, and even lockers.
"I'm just saying----- some penguins want a nice, quiet and comfortable office---- some want noisy with a hundred lockers to get their work done. I'm definetely the second sort"
It's too bad they'll only let me use ninety-nine items a time..."
The new designs can be found in the September 17 Better Igloos catalog.

The Showdown at the Stadium is coming!!!

A new sports team color is coming to Club Penguin on Sept 24, with the introduction of the Yellow Team. And it's all thanks to some competitive encouragement.
" You can't have a tournament with only three teams!" said a red soccer player. " You need at LEAST four. That way you can have semi-finals and then the finals!"
The Red and Blue Teams have been the most active teams over the years. And the Green Team has grown popularity recently. Now, with the Yellow Team, penguins will have plenty of choices in how they want to play.
"Each team has it's own way to play. Try 'em out, and see which suits you best." said a ref. "No matter which one you choose, it's going to be game on!"
Check the Snow and Sports catalog at the Stadium later this month.
